So I have an 11 wk old KCS she comes when called and she sits on command. However giving her treats straight after she’s done what I want her to do- she nips when I give her the treat. I do exactly what you do with treat on her nose, into the sit position but she nips when I give her the treat. Help please

How do you train the puppy to not be aggressive when in their create. When I was a kid, my friends sister went into the pugs crate, and he bit her on the face. She needed stitches. Of course, the girl wouldn't have gone in the create, but I feel the dog shouldn't have done that either. Your thoughts?

Why in the world would you leave a leash on a puppy? What if it gets caught on something or wrapped around their necks? If they are doing something and you need to stop them you are going to have to bend down and reach to grab the leash, why not just grab the dog or use your hands to move them away from it? The leash in all the time in the house seems absolutely ridiculous, what do I know though.

I am not a fan of placing the crate in another room with a new puppy… I dont even like them sleeping in it with the door closed. What if theres a fire or a flood? They wont be able to save themselves. also, Dogs are flock animals, its natural for them to be close to the heard. Taking a young puppy away from its mom and siblings only to force it to stay in another room seems cruel to me. i would never.
