I see you have a Great Pyrenees. How do you manage the barking and shedding ?

Even at home, I preportion the dog food into ziplock bags. This way, all I need to do is grab a bag in the morning and feed her. No need to measure the food and it keeps pests out of it. When we go camping, all I need to do is grab the number of bags per day I need. Once the bags are empty, they are flat and take up no space at all and ready for the next time. I have camped with dogs for the last 30 years, 20 of those in tents. Got my first pop-up 10 years ago and now have a travel trailer. Seems like plenty of space now. Last year it was me, my son, my two dogs, and his dog in a 24 ft tt. We crated two of them, the third was okay left out when we were out and about. Fun times was trying to get out of the camper in the morning with three dogs at the door not so patiently waiting to get out themselves.

We just started and found using brown noise keeps the dogs calm in the park when we are out.

Your info is great! Thank you. I have been looking for a portable fence for my Afghan Hound. So thank you for letting us know about the FXW company.

Hmmmm…not sure our 2 8 month old kitties would use the top entry litter box. We used disposables and that worked out well in our last trip in October. Water bowls..not an issue. Loved the hands free leash though. Now if you have tips for kitties and their zoomies..am all ears! Our Sheltie never leaves our site so crate no needed.

I’m so sorry if this is a stupid question but I’m not looking to travel. I just have to sell my house before I get foreclosed on. I struggle with my mental health (panic disorder and depression) staying employed is impossible these past few years. I’ve started a dozen jobs in the last 3 years. So I’m gonna have to sell my house and I have 2 dogs and three cats. Now I see it’s possible to live with all of them in an RV. Thank God. But where can I live with them? Like where am I allowed to park my RV with them? I know that trailer parks (sorry if that’s not the correct term) don’t allow pets or if they do, it’s only like one cat. I just want to be able to be safe and keep us all together without ending up totally homeless.

❤ Thank you, we are just starting our travels. We won’t be doing full time, we have a house in South Fork, Colorado. We will be traveling with 2 big black labs in our class A. We’ve always traveled with them in the truck, 5th wheel. They go just about everywhere with us. They are wonderful travelers, but in the truck. We took them out for a ride today to see how well they will do in the class A.

I'd like to thank you for this video. You certainly gave me a few things to think about, and a few good ideas. I have been researching full time RV living for almost 2 years. I'm still 6 to 8 months away (pending selling the house and finding the right rv). It's been a while since I have seen a video for RV life that I find helpful. I grew up in camper vans and RV's, so I'm familiar with the workings.

I'm planning on taking at least one cat (4 or 5 years old. She is a mellow cat, and is ok riding in a car. However, I recently rescued two more babies (Feral foundlings) that I have bonded with a little TOO much, to simply hand them off to the next person whose looking for a cat. They have imprinted on me, and sit with me on my desk as I watch videos like this.

If I keep them, it will certainly be an adventure. Just me, and 3 cats.

We are boaters with a dog, but some of the same rules apply. We keep a 30' Lead that we can tie off and give her some space to get some energy out or have privacy to do her business. (our dog is 60 lbs. so not a small one)

One thing we learned the hard way was to buy a duplicate set of leashes and collars. We even used a checklist and still forgot them on our last adventure.

Oh my gosh, you a natural teacher! When you leaned into the camera to tell us about your dog eating cat poopsicles, I felt like we were friends IRL and you were telling me a personal secret, well done!
