Is the tick and flee tincture spray okay to use on cats as well?

I gave my cat Bravecto and within a few months her major organs started shutting down. Vet tried to tell me it wasn’t the drug, funny how nothing was wrong medically until that time. She died soon after, I will never forgive myself. In my heart at the time I had a bad feeling about that drug, oh how I wish I would have listened to my inner voice. RIP my loving Izzy.

Questi dati sono solo la punta dell'iceberg. La maggior parte dei proprietari e dei veterinari non fanno alcun collegamento fra eventi avversi, decessi e antiparassitari…

I now have a dog who just turned 5 who has just been given the dignoses of lymphoma cancer uncureable. He is and has always been in perfect health , the only thing I've ever given him is Bravecto every few months for tick and flea so I would highly say that this is related to why he has cancer at such a young age. So please everyone take Dr Jones Advice. The vets will push Bravecto and these treatments on you everytime you visit them.

I would love to hear your thoughts about FurLife. It is an essential oil blend that attaches to the dog’s collar and lasts up to a year. I have two dogs that were on Bravecto and I wanted to get them off of it. My dogs were itching even weeks after the Bravecto dose. I put the FurLife on and I was amazed how quickly they stopped scratching at night and waking me up. It is supposed to last 12 months but I can’t vouch for that yet as it has only been 5 or 6 months. Seems to be working here in central Texas. Any concerns I should consider?

What are my options for ticks if I live in a densely wooded area in central florida? I have found dead ticks on my lab, and he’s on bravecto but I want to take him off it but don’t know what my options are.

Food grade Diatamaceous Earth. Mix it in their food, rub it on their fur. I take it as well on same schedule as my pets. No one has fleas and is great parasite control
    Crosses BBB
    Don’t breathe it
We mix it in water in the mornings

This was a great video with information we need to know about the medications vet push. Can you do one like this on heartworm meds or are their no other options but to use them?

When my dog was about 8 months old I gave her flea and tick stuff you put on her neck, then I sprayed the house with ‘natural’ spray. She ended up with liver failure and the vet said she should have been dead. I saved her life by giving her milk thistle and high dose vit C (both for humans). If I hadn’t done that the moment she turned yellow she would have died. The vet said she shouldn’t have survived in any way. Scary.

Now aged 8 years both dogs have fleas and I’ve tried natural but they are EVERYWHERE. I’ve never had anything like this before and I’m stuck what to do as I’m so scared I will do something that makes her sick or kills her. Even the natural neem stuff makes my throat sore and makes me cough.

I have always had a concern about using systemic drugs. My dog actually vomited after giving the prescribed dose of flee drops to the back of the neck. I only gave half the dose after that episode. But will try the holistic recipe. My vet tries to push yearly dog vaccination. Where some only need renewing every 3 years. The yearly vax for kennel cough is important. Thankfully we dont have rabies in Australia. So one less to give.

I am so sorry for the loss of your little Yorkie. I was also advised to use the Simparica but declined even though the vet felt it was completely safe. My warmest wishes to you after your loss. But many thanks for the warning. Blessings as you begin to heal.

Dr.Jones.I suspect my dog is suffering neurological symptoms from Bravecto. She has focal seizures and twice lately she has had bouts of "drunken " behavior where she's lost co ordination in her hindquarters.I had her to the vet and they did tests for ehrlichia,Lyme disease, and a full panel of blood work.Everything was normal but she's a "changed dog".Lethargic,depressed.If she is suffering from side effects of Bravecto,is the condition reversible?

We tried other ways. Getting rid of fleas is such a massive, months long project. Itching, bites, bald spots, allergic reactions….. Repelling just isn't enough to keep fleas out of the house. I wish it were. Until then, we have little choice but to use what's available from the vet.

Hello, where did you buy your witch hazel with aloe? I heard that we're supposed to use alcohol free and a vegetable glycerin based one, but it's hard to tell which one to purchase.

Frontline is an "I" med. My vet told me do not use it more than every 8 weeks. I use(d) it maybe twice a year. My cats catch mice, I groom them almost daily. They need to have a coat full of flea poop before I'd use it again. I've know houses that were taken over by fleas – I do not want that ever! I'll try soe of these tips. The brewers yeast – "no" said all of my cats.

I recently purchased a little soft chew called Flea and Tick Prevention that has brewers yeast, flax seed, ACV, coconut oil, fish oil, coriander, need with vit B 12, 1, and 6. Too early to tell how it will work but folks on Amazon rave about it. And it contains many of the things that the doc recommended.
