The eyes of the dog. Tell them they don't need pun ishment but leadership to keep dog trained. Eye contact is not only a sign of recognition but one of respect. If they don't demand firm leadership then the training of the dog will be a waste of time.

Where did you nip at? Was it in between the hip and stomach? Was it more the leg? Hard to tell with all the fluff. I agree with this technique but want to learn new areas I can use that will be effective.
Theres another way jsut so yk it could be the owner not the dog? Relax the lead causing tension makes the dog even more stressed aswelll relax and just dont get anxious and the dog will be fine
Dogs have claws and teeth. They nip and claw each other to get attention and communicate with one another in similar ways. A lil pinch is not giving dogs ptsd.

Super easy, 2 commands I use, sitz and leave it! Practice every day, use it on leash leader (traiining) walks and that's all there is to it.
